Direct service is service that directly affects the women we want to impact. At NCCWJ, direct service includes mentoring, counseling, educating, supporting, and providing assistance directly to women.
Indirect service is service in which you are not in the presence of the women you are impacting. NCCWJ indirect service includes donation collection, training, program planning, marketing, networking, accounting, and fundraising.
Advocacy is bringing awareness to or speaking up for or against a policy that impacts women. The NCCWJ Coalition educates, informs, recruits, and mobilizes others about legislative policies that impact women.
Research is a process of inquiry that involves information and data collection, documentation, and analysis and interpretation of information and data using scientific methodology. The NCCWJ Review publishes original research that is used to inform training, programming, and advocacy.
