Volunteer ENGAGEMENT

Volunteers support NCCWJ’s work with women, survivors, and communities through trained and supervised service. Opportunities may include victim and survivor support, resource navigation, educational activities, and other forms of direct assistance. Training, supervision, and role requirements are determined by the nature of the service provided.

Volunteers contribute skills and professional expertise that strengthen NCCWJ’s organizational capacity. Opportunities may include communications, development, administration, technology, design, event support, project coordination, and other operational or professional services aligned with organizational needs.

Volunteers support NCCWJ’s community engagement and public education efforts throughout North Carolina. Opportunities may include community outreach, public education, advocacy initiatives, events, awareness campaigns, and activities that strengthen relationships with individuals, organizations, and communities.

Volunteers contribute to NCCWJ’s research, policy, and knowledge-building work through activities such as issue and policy research, legislative monitoring, literature reviews, data collection and organization, fact-checking, and the development of educational and informational materials.
